Our story

Simply welcoming - Traditionally peaceful - Naturally inspiring

1997

The father and mother begin building the family home: three rooms next to the house that had been founded by the grandparents in 1970.

The new house became a place to welcome friends and family during their days of rest.

Moving time

1998 - 2016

The coffee-growing finca and the house are a place for friends, for family, and for friends of friends, to discover Jardín and to always come back.

2017

Camilo, Lina, and Laura begin the renovation of the house to continue the tradition of welcoming family and friends.

Thus, Jardín Cosentido Rural and Cultural Accommodation is born, bringing together the dreams of grandparents, parents, and children, lovingly preserving the tradition of the finca, the home, and the family.

2019

On August 16, 2019, Jardín Cosentido was officially registered as a Rural and Cultural Accommodation and opened the doors of the finca and the house to national and international travelers, inviting them to experience an authentic taste of traditional life in Jardín.

National Tourism Registry (RNT) 93785

2024

We received the Rosa de Oro distinction, awarded by the municipal administration of Jardín, to accommodations that meet the standards of formalization and quality for providing tourism lodging services.

2025

Five consecutive years on Booking. This year we once again received the Traveller Review Awards 9.8, which recognizes our work in welcoming guests and making their stay a memorable experience.

Thank you to the guests who have made this story real year after year!

We lovingly and respectfully restored the house founded by the grandparents.

On Mother’s Day… in honor of grandmother María Isabel and mother Esther Julia, we opened the doors of the small Casa Madreselva to welcome our guests.

Home sweet home!

Welcome.

On November 14, we created our coffee brand, evoking its origin:

La Isabela Coffee, named in memory of the maternal grandmother María Isabel Ruiz Gallego. Smooth and sweet, medium grind.

Isidro Coffee, named in memory of the paternal grandfather Jose Isidro Jaramillo Calle. Bold and consistent, whole bean.
